Erin Lee and Up Past Bedtime Band
Erin Lee Kelly is an award-winning children’s songwriter whose music has received rave reviews (“Irresistible!” -Disney’s Family Fun Magazine) and radio play from Massachusetts to New Mexico. The Up Past Bedtime Band are a group of talented New York City musicians who can usually be found up well past bedtime playing everything from country music to punk in many of NYC’s top venues. Together they make music for families featuring three part harmonies, electric violin, funky drumming and seriously silly lyrics about assorted childhood challenges –from accidentally losing your lunchbox to accidentally getting locked in the bathroom. “Catchy and memorable music, and an overall undeniably feel - good vibe.” ~ Kids Music Award, 2011.

THE POP UPS began as a personal challenge for two Brooklyn musicians looking to make something that their friends could feel good about enjoying with their young families. Calling themselves The Pop Ups, Jason & Jacob self-released their new record and OUTSIDE VOICES was born! The album was recently recognized with a National Association of Parenting Publications Award (NAPPA) for best music, and is on the Top Ten of 2010 lists of The Washington Post, Time Out New York Kids, The Fids and Kamily Awards, Out with The Kids, and Zooglobble.
The Pop Ups created a fully staged musical called “PASTA! A Pop Ups Puppet Musical” based on Outside Voices that opened in Los Angeles in July of 2010. Since it’s first sold out run, it has since been in residency at The Soho Playhouse in NYC, The Electric Lodge in Los Angeles, and has been staged at numerous venues around the country including The Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
