PHOTOVILLE will be a feisty mix of exhibitions, lectures, hands-on workshops, nighttime projections, photo dog run, and a summer beer-garden that will create a photographic destination like no other in the Pier 3 Uplands.
This exciting new public art experience is presented by Photo District News, United Photo Industries, and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
In addition to PHOTOVILLE, THE FENCE at PHOTOVILLE will be a public photographic installation like no other. The park's greenway fence will become an outdoor photo gallery, celebrating the essence of "Community: Home/Street/People/Creatures/Play." Photographers of all levels are invited to submit images that fit into the "Community" theme.
