About Us

For over 25 years the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has been working to bring a world-class park to the downtown Brooklyn waterfront.

Our Vision
A world-class park that reflects the history and character of the Brooklyn waterfront and serves the people of the New York City region and beyond.

Our Mission
To ensure the creation, adequate funding, proper maintenance, public support, and citizen enjoyment of Brooklyn Bridge Park through partnership with the government, development of programming, and active promotion of the needs of the park and its constituents.

Our IRS Form 990 can be found on www.guidestar.org. Click here for our guidestar listing. Download our 2009 Annual Report. Click here for online privacy policy.

Our Accomplishments
The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has worked for over twenty-five years to support the creation of Brooklyn Bridge Park. It has developed a respected professional staff and attracted a Board of outstanding business and civic leaders. The Conservancy has been a leading park advocate, developed a committed and growing pool of donors, and, since 1999, has provided the community with free public programming like our movie series, fitness classes, and educational activities.
