About Us

For nearly 20 years the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has been working to bring a world-class park to the downtown Brooklyn waterfront.

New York City's Next Great Park - Working with the local community, New York City civic organizations and our elected officials, the Conservancy has helped bring bring this vision to the brink of reality.  The plan for Brooklyn Bridge Park has been approved, and construction is set to begin in 2007.

Free Events in the Park - The beginnings of Brooklyn Bridge Park, between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, have become a treasured urban oasis.  The Conservancy brings exciting cultural, educational and recreational programming to the Park all season long - all free!

Get involved!  Enjoy great events in the Park, join the Green Team, participate in community meetingsvoice your support for the Parkshare your ideas for the Park, or donate to the Conservancy.  Every effort makes a difference as this magnificent stretch of waterfront transforms into New York City's next great park!
