Fun Fact
Common nighthawks and chimney swifts can be seen in the park at dawn or dusk. The nighthawks, which are declining in number, breed on city rooftops. The chimney swifts, not suprisingly, breed in chimneys.

Park Community Council
The Park Community Council (PCC) is made of up representatives of various community and civic organizations, including the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, who are generally supportive of the current park plan.
