White Bird Productions Puppetry Workshop
White Bird Productions, known for their Creative Theatrics after-school and summer theater programs, hosts Puppetry Theater Workship in Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park and St. Ann's Warehouse for two weeks. Children entering kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to register for the program. Participating children spend two weeks developing and crafting a puppet performance to be staged in one of the Park's magnificent settings. The performances are free to the public.
Harbor Camp
A city-wide initiative created by the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance (MWA), Harbor Camp brings underserved youth to the waterfront for environmental education, recreation and exploration. The Conservancy, in partnership with MWA and the Brookyn Center for Urban Environment creates a unique hands-on learning experience based on the ecology of the harbor estuary and the history and physics of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The Conservancy brings these programs and events to the public in partnership with the the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation
The Conservancy is grateful for the generous support and participation of our sponsors and the many local businesses that help make these events happen.
