New York City's cliff-like structures near water, with plentiful vantage points to see abundant prey, make Brooklyn Bridge Park a primary breeding ground for the Peregrine falcon. Some are nesting in the towers of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Some people say that true change comes from within. This 1956 cult classic proves once and for all that it comes from outer space. Helpless automatons need not bother.

Short film: Mr. Parabolic by Jacek Kosciuszko
Mr. Parabolic is shot in stop-motion in the beautiful ancient city of Torun, Poland. Over 24,000 photo stills are spliced together to create the short film of a man riding his chair thru town.

Sci Fi Presents Brooklyn Bridge ParkMOVIES WITH A VIEW

The Conservancy's most popular event returns for its ninth year! Movies With A View is one of the city's premiere outdoor film series with an eclectic line-up of films and breathtaking views of the NYC waterfront. The films are chosen by an all-volunteer Film Committee and each feature is preceded by a Short film. DJs from Brooklyn Radio kick off the evening, spinning tunes as the sun sets, and RICE sells delicious dinners onsite. Bike valet provided by Transportation Alternatives.

Sorry, no pets and no alcohol allowed in the park.
