Salvaged Landscape

Salvaged Landscape: Understanding Urban Design and Green Building in Brooklyn Bridge Park introduces concepts relating to sustainability and green design to students. Students will learn about the various features which have been incorporated into the Park’s construction and the interactive learning activities associated with the program will promote a better understanding of environmental sustainability. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Suggested ages 7-15. FREE!

Salvaged Landscape is presented by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy in partnership with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation.

Lead support for educational programming has been made available by Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez of the 12th Congressional District through a grant with the Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention. Additional funding has been provided by TD Charitable Foundation and Con Edison.
