Fun Fact
In 1748, the colonial charters gave New York ownership control of all the waterfront on both sides of the river and therefore received all rent and taxes from the ferry operators. Naturally, Brooklynites disagreed with this arrangement and an angry mob burned the Brooklyn ferry house to the ground.

Silver-Brown Dance Co. Presents OASIS 4

Since 2004, the Silver-Brown Dance Company (SBD) has presented this annual outdoor series of site specific performances for the Brooklyn community, celebrating the revitalization of the Brooklyn waterfront. Each year, SBD spends six weeks prior to the performances on-site, creating a new dance and interacting with the community. SBD will perform OASIS 4, a 9/11 memorial dance performance in the cove between the bridges in Brooklyn Bridge Park on September 7, 8, 9, and 11, 2007. FREE!

Performance Schedule:
Friday, Sept 7 @ 7pm
Saturday, Sept 8 @ 8pm
Sunday, Sept 9 @ 5pm
Tuesday, Sept 11 @ 7pm
