Fun Fact
In 1748, the colonial charters gave New York ownership control of all the waterfront on both sides of the river and therefore received all rent and taxes from the ferry operators. Naturally, Brooklynites disagreed with this arrangement and an angry mob burned the Brooklyn ferry house to the ground.

JellyNYC Presents the Boredoms

Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the legendary Japanese avant-garde rock band the Boredoms will debut 77 DRUM on 07/07/07 on the lawn of the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park section of Brooklyn Bridge Park. The band will lead 77 drummers in a once-in-a-lifetime performance. 4pm until dusk. FREE!
