Fun Fact
In 1642, Cornelius Dircksen, a local farmer, started the first ferry between Peck Slip in Manhattan and what is now the corner of Front and Fulton Street. Passengers would call Dircksen out of his fields with a horn to ferry them across the river.

A day of entertainment, education, adventure for the whole family celebrating our waterfront, this one-of-a-kind festival is presented by the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance. The Conservancy will provide free education workshops, including seining under the Manhattan Bridge. FREE!
