Syfy Presents BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK'S MOVIES WITH A VIEW
Paper Moon
1973, Rated PG, 102 minutes
Directed by Peter Bogdanovich
It's 1936 and orphaned Addie and con man Moses are quite the pair of scam artists, swindling their way through Kansas and Missouri selling Bibles to widows. Yes, Bibles. To widows. Father and daughter team Ryan and Tatum O'Neal star in this gem of a picture, for which 10-year old Tatum nabbed an Oscar.
Short film: The Coffee Bird by Bryan Brinkman
An animated story of an elderly man who is given a chance to raise a baby bird, only to later find out that he has no idea how.
DJ: Tim "Love" Lee

The Conservancy's most popular event returns for its tenth anniversary year! Movies With A View is one of the city's premiere outdoor film series with an eclectic line-up of films and breathtaking views of the NYC waterfront. The films are chosen by an all-volunteer Film Committee and each feature is preceded by a short film. DJs from Brooklyn Radio kick off the evening, spinning tunes as the sun sets, and RICE sells delicious dinners onsite. Bike valet provided by Transportation Alternatives.
Sorry, no pets and no alcohol allowed in the park.
Check out the stars with Orion telescopes generously donated by Syfy! The Amateur Astronomers Association of New York will be at the movies to help you locate stars and planets in the night sky.
