

So many of us have traveled that familiar train route between NY and DC and some of us may even flirt with romantic notions of meeting an intriguing stranger on that journey. This movie is a warning against any such notions, however, as the two strangers in this story end up in a murderous plot together.
Guy Haines, played by Farley Granger, a famous tennis pro divulges a secret desire for the death of his estranged wife to Bruno Anthony played by Guy Walker when they meet on the train. Anthony offers to kill Haines’ wife if he kills Anthony’s father in exchange. Haines believes Anthony to be kidding until his wife turns up murdered and he is the prime suspect, he spends the rest of the movie rushing around, trying to clear his name
