(PG) –2009, 94 min
DJ: DJ Lupe Loop
Got an alien problem? Call the monster squad! Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen and Steven Colbert lend their voices to this Dreamworks picture, in which a young girl turned 50-foot mutant finds herself looked away in a secret government compound with other monsters. But when aliens suddenly invade, this ragtag group of rejects may be mankind’s only hope!
Movies With A View is one of the city's premiere outdoor film series with an eclectic lineup of films and breathtaking views of the NYC waterfront. The films are chosen by an all-volunteer Film Committee and each feature is preceded by a short film, this year curated by BAMcinématik. DJs from Brooklyn Radio kick off the evening, spinning tunes as the sun sets and bike valet provided by Transportation Alternatives.
Check out the stars with Orion telescopes generously donated by Syfy! The Amateur Astronomers Association of New York will be at the movies to help you locate stars and planets in the night sky.
