“All the Dude ever wanted was his rug back.”  After a case of mistaken identity, an unemployed slacker is hired to recover a millionaire’s wife. White Russians in-hand, bowling bowl at the ready, The Dude (Jeff Bridges) and his partner in crime Walter (John Goodman) square off against Nihilists, feminists, fascists, pornographers, high school brats, private eyes, and the other Jeffrey Lebowski.  Written and directed by Brooklyn’s own Joel and Ethan Coen. 

Movies With A View is one of the city's premiere outdoor film series with an eclectic lineup of films and breathtaking views of the NYC waterfront. The films are chosen by an all-volunteer Film Committee and each feature is preceded by a short film, this year curated by BAMcinématik. DJs from Brooklyn Radio kick off the evening, spinning tunes as the sun sets and bike valet provided by Transportation Alternatives.

Check out the stars with Orion telescopes generously donated by Syfy! The Amateur Astronomers Association of New York will be at the movies to help you locate stars and planets in the night sky.
