In 2009, Brooklyn Bridge Park commissioned BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn’s Brooklyn Independent Television to document the creation of the park through a series of video “webisodes” and a feature documentary that will tell the story of park design and construction. Watch interviews with park designers and builders and learn about the many sustainability measures incorporated into its design, construction and operation. These videos were produced by Brooklyn Independent Television, a community media program of BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn. They were produced and edited by Kate Chumley, John Carluccio and Lily Henderson, and filmed by America Maldonado-Gulsby and Ryan Wenzel.

Brooklyn Bridge Park: New York's Next Great Park

Brooklyn Independent Television’s (BIT) 25-minute documentary, “New York’s Next Great Park” chronicles the design and construction of the first phases of Brooklyn Bridge Park, offering insights on its sustainability features through interviews with some of the key figures in the design, planning and programming of the park and footage of the park's continuing evolution.

Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates commissioned the following short film in anticipation of Pier 1 opening.  The film talks about park design and sustainability initiatives throughout Brooklyn Bridge Park.  It was created by Stephen Knifton of Popstream Productions in Toronto, Ontario.
