Thank you for your interest in the Brooklyn Bridge Park. While the full-time staff remains small, there are occasional vacancies. Internship opportunities for college or graduate school students are available.

When positions become available, the positions will be advertised on this website, in addition to other places. Persons sending unsolicited resumes and cover letters may send them to or by mail. Position: Communications Intern


Brooklyn Bridge Park is seeking a Communications Intern to assist the department with a variety of tasks.

  • Assist with creating a well-organized archive of digital and print media coverage.

  • Assist with maintaining the park’s extensive library of photos.

  • Assist with updating and drafting content for the park’s website.

  • Assist with drafting communication and promotional materials (e.g. press releases, press kits, signage and presentations).

  • Performing other relevant duties, including some administrative tasks, as necessary.


  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university. A student majoring in communications, marketing or public relations is preferred but not required.

  • Motivated individual capable of writing fun, upbeat content for BBP’s website.

  • Creativity and a desire to take initiative and suggest new ideas.

  • Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and HTML a plus.

This is a paid internship available two days per week. The position will begin in September 2014 and end in December 2014.
