TIDES (Teens Interested in & Dedicated to Environmental Stewardship)

Join TIDES (Teens Interested In and Dedicated to Environmental Stewardship) and meet other teens from across the city! This opportunity brings students together to complete weekly community service projects that focus on ecology, conservation, and sustainability. TIDES is perfect for students who have an existing or budding interest in the environment, looking for new experiences and are ready to learn new skills. No experience in stewardship or environmental projects is needed to apply!

TIDES is open to high school students ages 14-18. The program takes place over 8-10 consecutive weeks in Brooklyn Bridge Park’s unique waterfront environment.

TIDES sessions run in the spring and fall:

  • SPRING 2024: Check back in the winter for dates and application.
  • FALL 2023: TIDES will run Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 PM, from September 6-November 15. Space is limited, selected applicants will be contacted for an interview. Applications now closed.
