As part of the City Nature Challenge, help us discover and capture photos of all the diverse species living in Brooklyn Bridge Park! No science experience is necessary, just an app called iNaturalist. Using this citizen science app, thousands of people all around the country will be observing and recording nature in their cities.

Meeting at the 334 Furman Classroom, join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy educators for:

  • A workshop highlighting the park’s rich ecology
  • Instructions on how to use the iNaturalist app
  • An adventure throughout the park to assist us in cataloging plants and animals!

Families are welcome; we will have scavenger hunt activities for children. Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring a fully charged smartphone or camera, and download the iNaturalist app beforehand.

Learn more about the iNaturalist app here.
