Mark your calendars! Thursday, October 1 is Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s Day of Celebration! In honor of the recent 5th Anniversary of the Environmental Education Center and the return to programming in the park, we have a free, fun-filled day of virtual education programming and in-park fitness too.
All events are free and require advanced registration. See below for the schedule for the day.

8:00 AM – Sunrise Yoga with Prema Yoga
Start the day off with a breath of fresh air and morning stretches in the Park. Registration is now open for this class at this link. If you can’t make it to the Park, this class will also be streamed live on Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Facebook Page.
10:00 AM – Virtual Education Class: The Awesome Oyster
Dive into East River ecology through a live, virtual field trip. All learner levels are welcome aboard as we showcase and study oysters and marine life found in our oyster monitoring cages at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Register at the Zoom link above!
12:00 PM – Lunch and Learn: Connections Between Art, Education, and the Environment
Take a break from your workday to participate in a virtual panel discussion about how Brooklyn Bridge Park serves as a living classroom. Joined by Conservancy staff, past and present, we will examine the ways in which art and outdoors intertwine and share stories of how the education program and Environmental Education Center came to be. 3:00 PM – Virtual Open Hours: Ed Center Birthday Bash
Get ready for a science-filled party! Crafts, experiments, trivia, live animal appearances, puppet shows & storytelling are all in store for our fun-packed celebration, in honor of the Ed Center’s 5th Birthday. Register at the Zoom link above.
5:30 PM – Bootcamp Boot Camp with Chelsea Piers Fitness
Incinerate calories and build strength with this one-hour high intensity interval training. Registration is now open for this class at this link. If you can’t make it to the Park, this class will also be streamed live on Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Facebook Page.
