Dánice is a Performance art education scholar, whose discography covers a wide range of African musicianship to versatile movement techniques. BAM has been a home to some of her most treasured performances as a featured artist with, Drum song American Ballet Theatre, Mamadou Dahoue & The Ancestral Messengers Dance Company, and more. Continuing her three decade journey with cultural embodiment practices, she’s best known for evolving the growing forms of artist development & self expansion. While designing her thesis titled “Trials & Dance Relations”, she received her Masters & Bachelors in Psychology and a BFA in Dance. Dánice’s thesis was a mind-body study that diversified the learning environments accessible for cultural arts education with mental & emotional health information. Touring to higher education institutions and dance programs throughout New York, she hopes to inspire honest connectivity and redefine the fundamental ingredients for progressive community engagement.
