The Conservancy’s annual literature series returns in-person featuring four evenings curated by local, independent bookstores. 

Join us on Monday, August 2 from 7:00-8:30pm at Pier 1 Granite Prospect for our first evening of Books Beneath the Bridge with Freebird Books

Featuring readings from Adam Wilson, author of Sensation Machines, Justin Taylor, author of Riding with the Ghost, and Tracy O’Neill, author of Quotients. Scroll below to learn more about the authors!

About the Authors

  • About Adam Wilson

      Adam Wilson is the author of Sensation Machines. His previous books include a story collection What’s Important Is Feeling (2014) and the novel Flatscreen (2012), which was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. He is also a critic whose work has appeared in Harper’s, Bookforum, and 4Columns, among other publications. In 2012, he received the Terry Southern Prize for Humor from The Paris Review.

  • About Justin Taylor

      Justin Taylor is the author of Riding with the Ghost. He is also the author of three books of fiction: Everything Here Is the Best Thing Ever (2010), The Gospel of Anarchy (2011), and Flings (2014). His work has appeared in the New Yorker, Harper’s, Bomb, and Bookforum, among other publications.

  • About Tracy O'Neill

      Tracy O’Neill is the author of Quotients and a previous novel The Hopeful. Her writing has appeared in many publications including Granta, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, and the New Yorker. She teaches at Vassar College.
