Presented in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse, kayaking runs on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm through the end of August, and on Saturdays from 10:00am-3:00pm through the end of September. All levels are welcome. Children under 18 must have an adult guardian present.

Advanced registration required. Free registration opens 2 weeks ahead of each date through the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse website. Check back daily for more openings.

  • Advanced registration is required for this activity. Due to COVID-19, limited capacity is available. Walk ups will be accommodated on-site if there are still spaces.
  • All participants must sign a waiver before participating.
  • Children and teens under 18 must have an adult guardian present.
  • Singles are for adults, or any kayaker with a parent/guardian present that is at least 14 years old.
  • Doubles are for one adult and no more than one child under 14 or paddler that needs assistance. Shared boats must be from the same household.
  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. You will only be able to paddle during the time slot for which you registered.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is thrilled to be able to offer in-person programs. Maintaining safety is our number one priority and we are following State, City, and CDC guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19. For the well-being of our community, we ask that anyone who exhibits any symptoms of COVID-19 or has recently come into contact with someone who had COVID-19, please stay home. Any participants who do not comply with safety requirements will be asked to leave the program.
