Celebrate the return of Movies with a View and our 22nd season of Brooklyn’s beloved outdoor film series!
On Thursday, July 14 join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for The Bourne Identity (2002, rated PG-13, 119 minutes), as part of our 2022 theme “Away We Go”.
The Bourne Identify tells the story of a man (Matt Damon), salvaged, near death, from the ocean by an Italian fishing boat. When he recuperates, the man suffers from total amnesia, without identity or background… except for a range of extraordinary talents in fighting, linguistic skills and self-defense that speak of a dangerous past. He sets out on a desperate search-assisted by the initially rebellious Marie (Franka Potente) – to discover who he really is, and why he’s being lethally pursued by assassins.
Lawn doors open at 6pm and the movie begins at sundown (around 8:30pm). Smorgasburg will provide tasty treats and drinks all evening along the Pier 1 promenade, now starting earlier at 5pm, featuring a selection of NYC’s favorite food vendors! Beer and wine concessions will be available for purchase for adults 21 and over.
The pre-movie lineup includes DJ Miss Hap brought to you by Brooklyn Radio, and short film Green Life (directed by local filmmakers Ricard Badia, Russ Etheridge, and Milo Targett), selected by BAM Film.
