What is playing this summer?

This year’s theme is Resistance, and it will highlight issues of race, gender, protest, and triumph. Here’s the full lineup:

July 6: Office Space
July 13: Pariah
July 20: Casablanca
July 27: The Lego Movie
August 3: 9 to 5
August 10: 42
August 17: Mad Max: Fury Road
August 24: Public Vote!

Will food and drinks be available for purchase?

Yes! This year, we’re partnering with DeKalb Market Hall to bring in some of Brooklyn’s favorite food vendors. Highlights include Kotti Berliner Döner Kebab, Foragers Rotisserie, The Pop Cake Shop, and Cuzin’s Duzin. To go along with these treats, Warsteiner beer and a selection of wines from Oak Beverages are available for purchase as well.

Can I bring my own food?

Of course — feel free to bring in your own food, but outside alcohol is still prohibited on the lawn. To that end, be advised that bag checks will be conducted at the entrance.

Why is there a bag check now?

Outside alcohol and glass bottles have always been prohibited in the Park. This year, we’re partnering with DeKalb Market Hall to bring food, beer, and wine vending to the Movies. With these new offerings, we want to remind you of this policy in order to ensure the safety and security of moviegoers.

We hope you enjoy these new options!

When should I come?

Food and music start at 6:00 PM, and movies begin at sundown. Make sure to come at least 30 minutes before the screening to move through bag check, stake out a good spot, and take in the spectacular skyline!
