Park Alerts & Event Updates

All as planned!

We are always working to maintain and improve Brooklyn Bridge Park. Here you will find a description of current work and happenings in the Park that may disrupt some areas of use and cause location closures.

• Work to replace the sub-framing and decking at Empire Fulton Ferry Boardwalk will take place Monday, December 8 through Tuesday, January 6. Please use caution and follow detour signs.
• Starting Monday, December 8 a lighting installation project will take place at St. Ann’s Warehouse Max Family Garden, expected to conclude Friday, January 2.
• Our seasonal pop-up ice rink, Roebling Rink, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza, is in operation November 24-February 1, with break-down through February 20. Bicyclists will need to use caution and detour through the area.
• The restrooms at Pierhouse, beneath Squibb Bridge, are closed for renovations.
• Changes to the NYC Ferry schedule are posted here

*These dates are subject to change without notice. We try to keep this page as up to date as possible, but sometimes schedules shift due to supply chains, weather, staff needs, or other impacts. We appreciate your patience while we work to make improvements and maintain the Park.

During the winter months, please take note that:

• Playgrounds close at sunset
• Restrooms close at 10:00 PM starting in November
• Pier 2 closes at 9:00 PM starting in late October
• Water systems Park-wide will be shut off in mid-November
• Several in-park concessions and vendors operate seasonally and close for the winter. Please check hours ahead of your visit.
