Brooklyn Bridge Park offers low-cost seasonal soccer leagues for adults and youth in partnership with MetroSoccer. Find more information below.
Please check this page for updates, or sign up for our emails to receive announcements about soccer leagues and other programming in the park.
Our league is a 10-week season, with games held on Saturday mornings, and optional weekday practices available on Wednesday’s. Game days will consist of 30 minutes of drills and a 30 minute scrimmage.
All teams are led by volunteer parent-coaches, and we encourage parents to consider coaching when registering.

Our Adult Soccer League is a 6 v. 6 format (5 Outfield + 1 Goalkeeper), with both Open and Coed divisions across a 10-week season.

Drop in to play on the Pier 5 turf (6:00 AM–11:00 PM) when leagues are not scheduled. Drop in times are first come, first served. Leagues that have timed permits are not allowed to use open play times. When others are looking to play, please keep play time to one hour and share the field.
To form your own league for regularly recurring use of a field at the Pier 5 Turf, please apply for an Athletic Permit. If you would like to rent a field for one time use, please apply for a Special Events Permit.
Check back for seasonal schedules. Below schedules do not reflect one-off permitted events or maintenance closures – these will be noted on our Alerts page whenever possible. Please note Pier 5 turf closes for ice/snow until melted – it is not shoveled or plowed to avoid turf damage.
Pier 5 Turf is otherwise open for public use, 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Field 1 is closest to Furman Street and Field 3 is closest to the river edge of the pier. Field 4 uses both Fields 2 and 3. Signs labeling each field are installed on the interior walls.

Yes. There are water fountains throughout Brooklyn Bridge Park and each has a water bottle filling feature.
Water fountains are turned off for the winter season when outside temperatures reach freezing.
You must bring your own equipment to play any of the sports at the park.
To host an event or an activity in Brooklyn Bridge Park you must have an approved permit from Brooklyn Bridge Park. This process insures that any given area of the Park is not over crowded and that organizations are properly supported and insured. If you would like to host an event or activity in the Park, please review the conditions for a special events permit.
Yes! There are lots of places to eat and drink in and near Brooklyn Bridge Park. Please browse through all the park concessions and nearby eateries. Many nearby restaurants, cafés, and bars are listed on online with the DUMBO BID, Atlantic Avenue BID, Montague Street BID, and Downtown Brooklyn.
