Kick the ball or score goals for your team on one of the city’s most unique and picturesque turf fields.

Practice your skills or play a game on the turf fields at Pier 5. Join a league or drop in during open play hours.

In addition to the many youth and adult leagues permitted on the field, the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy also offers low-cost soccer leagues for adults and kids in the spring, summer, and fall.

2021 Conservancy League Dates:

  • Adult League: WED March 17-May 26, 7-11 PM
  • Youth Games: SAT March 20-May 29, 8 AM-12 PM, Practices WED March 24-May 26 3-7 PM

BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK CONSERVANCY ADULT SOCCER LEAGUE

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s Adult Soccer League operates in the spring, summer and fall seasons. 

Spring Soccer 2021 Update

Registration for adult leagues is now live at this link! Leagues will start on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

Leagues will run with strict COVID-19 hygiene and health measures in place, which would include, but are not limited to:

  • All players and staff wearing face coverings 
  • No throw-ins, tackling or other close contact
  • A “no spectator” policy 
  • Self-certifying lack of symptoms before each game 

The safety of our league’s players, Metro Soccer staff, and Conservancy staff has been and will remain our number one priority.

The Spring soccer league will run approximately 10 weeks long from March 17 through May 26, with weekly games taking place on Wednesday evenings. 

About Adult Soccer

Our Adult Soccer League is a 6 v. 6 (5 and a goalkeeper) format, with both men’s and co-ed divisions. Games will be on Wednesday nights and will run for 10 weeks (start/end dates subject to change due to weather). All games will be 50 minutes long and will be played in hour intervals starting between 7 – 10 pm. Each team will play in all time slots.

Team rosters can be up to 12 players, co-ed teams need a minimum of two female outfield players on the field at all times, and men’s teams can not include any female player. Team rosters and completed waivers are due before the beginning of the season. The fee for a team is $1650 (plus fees). When signing up you will pay a $500 deposit, with the balance due before the beginning of the season.

Free Agents will be assigned to a team of other individual Free Agent players. We cannot take requests for participants to be placed on the same team. The fee for a free agent is $165.

Leagues will run with COVID-19 hygiene and health measures, which would include, but are not limited to: 

  • All players, staff and parents/guardians wearing face coverings at all times 
  • Limited spectators 
  • Self-certifying lack of symptoms before each game

About Youth Soccer

Our Youth Soccer League is for 1st through 6th graders. Each season runs for 10 weeks and the cost is $75. Games take place on Saturday mornings, and optional practices take place on Wednesday afternoons. Start/end dates subject to change due to weather.

Our program is designed in partnership with Metro Soccer. All teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches, so please consider volunteering to coach a team when you register your child.
